Markus Stadler joined Martin Kenney & Co after spending four years as an associate with Hughes, Hubbard & Reed (Paris), where he was part of the Anti-Corruption and Internal Investigations practice group. He advised on anti-corruption matters, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the UK Bribery Act, and litigated fraud, asset recovery, and antitrust cases.

Markus graduated from Harvard Law School in 2015. During the summer of his 1L year at Harvard, he completed an internship with Martin Kenney & Co, where he performed legal research, drafted memoranda, and worked with various professionals worldwide on fraud and asset recovery matters.

Prior to his career in law, he obtained a BA in International Relations and German from John Hopkins University and an MBA from Columbia University. He worked as an investment banker and financial analyst in many of the world’s financial centres, including Los Angeles, London, and New York City.

Markus is fluent in English and German, proficient in Portuguese, and speaks Spanish and French as well.
