The team at MKS has experience of commercial arbitration and investor-state disputes.

Our former consultant solicitor advocate, Shaun Reardon-John, was part of the first week-long arbitration to be held at the BVI International Arbitration Centre, concerning a dispute between two high-profile resort owners in the BVI.

In addition, Martin Kenney, Andrew Gilliland, Andrew Blackburn and Hakim Creque acted for the Government of the BVI in a New York-seated AAA Arbitration brought by BV Airways Inc.

Martin Kenney, Andrew Gilliland and Shaun Reardon-John were also involved in the enforcement of a US$6 billion ICSID Award in Tethayn Copper Company PTY Limited v Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This was the first time the BVI Court had considered an ICSID Award.

The firm has additionally acted in connection with a London-seated LCIA arbitration.
